(KNOU)- Maker of menstrual products Always is stepping up its game and becoming more inclusive toward customers of all gender identities by removing the female symbol off of its packaging.

Purchasing menstrual products can be triggering for many transgender or non-binary individuals, which is why the company is making strides to become as accommodating as possible.

“We routinely assess our products, packaging, & designs, taking into account consumer feedback, to ensure we are meeting the needs of everyone who uses our products,” the company’s statement said.
