(KNOU)- Would you send your kid off in a car with a complete stranger?

Well if you're constantly running around and struggling to find the time to pick up your kids or get them to their next activities, HopSkipDrive might be for you.

The new ridesharing transportation service helps to get kids from one location to the next while assuring parents that they are safer than ever.

Drivers must go through a 15-point certification process which they "fingerprint every CareDriver, run extensive background checks with the FBI, the Department of Justice, and other agencies, and have ongoing monitoring of DMV records to make sure your precious cargo is fully protected. Every CareDriver has at least five years caregiving experience, their vehicle passes an inspection by a certified mechanic, and they are met by a member of the HopSkipDrive team," according to their website.

The CEO of HopSkipDrive, Joanna McFarland says they are "seeing tremendous growth in their existing market as well as massive demand to launch new markets."

Although the service is only offered in six states so far, they are trying to expand nationally.

The real question is, would you give this new service a chance if it made its way to St. Louis?
