Is St. Louis really the LEAST SAFE city in America?

(NOW) - Wallet Hub just ranked the 182 biggest cities in the U.S. from the safest to least safe.

The rankings are based on 41 factors, including terrorist attacks, mass shootings, murders, traffic deaths, natural disaster risk, identity theft and job security.

And based on all of that, the safest city in the country is Columbia, Maryland.

The rest of the top 10 are: Yonkers, New York; Plano, Texas; Gilbert, Arizona; South Burlington, Vermont; Virginia Beach, Virginia; Bismarck, North Dakota; Nashua, New Hampshire; Chandler,  Arizona; and Warwick, Rhode Island.

The least safe city in the country is ST. LOUIS.

Of the more than 180 cities included in the ranking, St. Louis was in the bottom five for "Home & Community Safety" and 156th for "Financial Safety."

The rest of the bottom 10 are:  Fort Lauderdale, Florida; San Bernardino, California; Detroit; Baton Rouge, Louisiana; Little Rock, Arkansas;  Birmingham, Alabama; Oklahoma City; Memphis; and Jackson, Mississippi.
