Megan Thee Stallion claps back at Tory Lanez album denying shooting

A simple Instagram posts speaks volumes in this dispute

September 28, 2020

Megan Thee Stallion took to Instagram responding to Tory Lanez’s 17 track album, Daystar, in which Lanez refutes allegations he shot Stallion in the foot during a July incident between the artists.

The “WAP” singer posted a less than cryptic image sporting diamond encrusted rings spelling out “F*** YOU” across her knuckles. Megan simply captions, “Mood.”

Stallion accused Lanez of shooting her in the foot back in July. Silence and deferment shrouded both sides. Megan posted to Instagram soon after to try and clear the air. Her message read in part “I was never arrested, the police officers drove me to the hospital where I underwent surgery to remove the bullets.”

Conflict came to a head in September when Tory tweeted “To my fans ... I’m sorry for my silence .... but respectfully .. I got time today ...... 9 PM PST.”

That night, the singer dropped a surprise 17 track album titled Daystar. Each track addresses the matter with Megan and his subsequent fall out. Tory’s sense of betrayal was on full display with such lyrics reading "How the f--- you get shot in your foot, don't hit no bones or tendons?"

He continues to reveal details about the night in question, and makes time to name-drop Kylie Jenner, who apparently had been hanging out with the two of them earlier that evening.

On the track “Queen and Slim,” Tory raps: “I wasn’t the wrong one that night, you was just too drunk to even see it… I’ve never even had an argument with ya.” On “In the Air ,” he raps “I’ve never hit no woman”, and says the situation is a test from God: “He’s using Megan as a vessel and a test of faith.”

Meg will be making headlines in a positive way this weekend as she performs on Saturday Night Live with host Chris Rock.
