Having fun with your friends this summer doesn’t have to break the bank. With that in mind, Elite Daily has compiled this list of 10 activities that won’t cost you much (or anything):

Have a potluck picnic in the park. Have your squad bring their favorite snacks, some cozy blankets and a device to stream your favorite tunes.

Create a summer scrapbook. This is something sweet you can keep forever.

Look for free live music events. Many restaurants, parks, and business try to incorporate live music into their summer festivities.

Have a summer-themed movie marathon. You all can be couch potatoes as you host a movie marathon.

Prepare a home-cooked meal together. Pin a yummy recipe or two on Pinterest, and hit the kitchen.

Take turns giving each other makeovers. Get those glittery summer eyeshadows and iridescent highlighters ready to slay.

Volunteer. You'll feel so good knowing that a few hours of your day benefited an organization you care about.

Catch a free movie in the park. Make sure to get there early so you can get a solid spot.

Take a bike ride in one of your favorite parks. There's so much to see on a simple bike ride.

Go hiking. St. Louis has so many hiking spots, get out and explore!
