Christina Aguilera and Demi Lovato’s fiery duet, “Fall in Line,” has been making waves since it was released nearly two weeks ago. Christina explains to Entertainment Weekly why she chose Demi to sing on the track. “I respect women who are no-nonsense and ballsy,” she says of Demi. “She has a past that she’s overcome and I relate to that a lot. And she’s definitely been vocal about how I’ve been an inspiration to her and I find that so kind and endearing. I appreciate when women support each other.” Christina adds, “We just fit together like an Oreo cookie.” She says the two are the same height and that Demi is the “dark-haired version and I’m the blonde-haired version.” In addition to all those similarities, Christina says the track needed a “bada** girl” who could “own the song with me.” Christina’s new album, Liberation, comes out June 15th.
